Due to being a mage, some of his abilities can be used on other people. Comment here if you're okay with situational uses of spellsteal, polymorph, and slow!

Slow - slows down the users for a short period of time, enabling the mage a chance to run away.
Spell-steal - enables the mage to steal the spell from people for himself - normally this is used to steal buffs from others or snuff out a combative spell against himself
Polymorph - enables the mage to shapechange others into a cat, pig, turtle, rabbit, or sheep.
