Age: He looks to be somewhere in his late twenties to early thirties at oldest.
Gender/Sex: Male
Appearance: Duibhín is about 5'7" or so, with waist-length black hair that he never puts up if he can help it. He has bright, glowing green eyes as a result of his addiction to magic. He's fair-skinned, and looks as if he could burn easily though he doesn't mind the sun one bit, even if he doesn't ever manage to tan. He cares for himself to the extent of self-pampering and it shows in well-manicured nails and elegant, tailored clothing.

in winter clothing.
History: Duibhín was born to two mages in a closeknit family with a silver spoon firmly wedged into his mouth. Luxury was a given and he wanted for little, and was spoiled rotten simply for existing, even after his baby sister Mairéad was born. They were a loving family, of minor noble status but with a lineage that seemed excellent at producing magic users with an eye for business or politics. It was a peaceful childhood mostly spent playing with the other well-to-do children in his age range. As he grew older he went into the Mages Academy, where he came out a polished mage of the Arcane school-- just in time to help his people rebuild their newly-fallen empire. The loss of his parents to the Lich King’s forces was heartbreaking, but he pushed on, working towards making his own dreams come true, and eventually leaving Silvermoon as an Ambassador for the Horde.
His adventures through Azeroth have been many, with many friends, enemies, and a smattering of lovers at his side. He’s fought the undead and survived a few kidnapping attempts, all the while balancing on a knife-edge of politics that kept the Horde going. Eventually though, after going into hiding to keep away from Garrosh’s call for mages (to build the mana bomb that destroyed Theramore) and ending up temporarily imprisoned in Dalaran as a political prisoner of the Silver covenant, he’s managed to settle himself down, relaxing in his home in the woods, temporarily retired from Ambassadorial service so that he can regain his sanity and spend more time with his lover.
Personality: Duibhín is one of those sorts of people who is overall quite intelligent, but tends to do stupid things due to not thinking actions through before actually setting them into motion. Restraint is something he’s learned in the last few years but he still sometimes struggles with the neat to react before he can analyze a situation. Somehow, he’s still quite adept as an Ambassador-- likely due to his charisma and open interest in anyone that he talks to. He is perfectly capable of appearing aloof and neutral but he tends to drop his guard easily when he feels comfortable.
When he is relaxed and safe he has a warm, vibrant personality. He’s generous and loving to those that he cares for (be they friend, family, or lover), and he enjoys teasing his companions to no end. It would be nice if he learned to take what he dishes out but he’s working on it. Even with this, he is someone who values the company and input of others-- everything is more bearable with friends, after all. For all his strengths, vanities, and pride (of which he possesses in spades) he hates being alone or feeling ignored. He also has a penchant for trouble that people would find ...
admirable. Duibhín can certainly play the damsel in the phrase "damsel in distress," though he abhors being referred to as such.
On the other end, he considers himself an absolutely hopeless romantic. Whatever form his affection, it blazes quickly and vibrantly. When someone worms their way into his circle he will expend copious amounts of energy into ensuring their welfare and happiness. With those he trusts he is more willing to drop the dramatics and the professional facade, enabling them to see the heart firmly stamped onto his sleeve. For a Blood Elf, he’s considered an adult, but an adult, and looks to be somewhere in his mid-to-late twenties to early thirties. He’s been spoiled and pampered from birth and sometimes comes across as a strutting, vain peacock who knows how to spin pretty words. He works hard though, to prove himself and see things from the perspective of the other side in a conversation (and not just a default grey stance). He won't hesitate to be helpful when required, and has even been known to even set aside personal grudges if it works towards a greater goal.

Profession Abilities: Full list of Alchemy recipes can be found
here (as there are 371 entries, I felt it best not to try and type them all here)
Duibhín's specialties for alchemy are mostly concerned with the concoction of healing potions and mana potions (usually to use on himself though he's generous when necessary). He takes the herbs and mashes them down into powders and liquids and re-purposes them into new, shiny things. He's also capable of creating flasks that are capable of buffing abilities for a short duration - about an hour or two at most. These flasks greatly enhance intellect, stamina, strength, or dexterity and can be a great boon during battle - but are a hassle to carry too many of due to glass flasks being delicate.
He's also capable of creating potions for various utilities - temporary invisibility as well as the ability to 'detect' invisibility. He can also create short-lived potions that allow for walking on water or breathing under water, and draughts that boost running speed.
Note: I am completely fine with any of these being limited, either by need of Azerothian herbs or implements he doesn't possess or however works. Most of his abilities beyond the creation of mana potions are secondary to me. Any limiting that will keep the game even is totally fine with me!
Inventory: Duibhín tends to carry a lot of crap with him at any given time. This includes at least one extra set of clothing, and a pair of fine gloves used for picking delicate flowers. He has a stack or two of small stoppered jars (about 10 total) as well to allow for him to mix potions and create salves, and several larger flasks of mana potions that he uses to stave off his personal addiction to magic. Add some random little pouches of arcane dust and traveling rations, as well as a hairbrush and a minor assortment of cosmetics for his eyes, nails, and hair and you have traveling light by Sunstorm's ideals.
